Design-Driven Institutional Reframing for Anticipatory Governance
Short description
The assumptions institutions make about their purpose and responsibilities shape what they can learn. This project investigates how those assumptions change when AI tools become part of governance, and whether design methods can help institutions become more capable of anticipating change.
The researcher will study organisational routines, accountability and dependence on AI-generated knowledge. Systemic and service-design approaches will help identify barriers to learning and evaluate how reframing institutional roles affects adaptive capacity.
