Natali Helberger

Natali Helberger is Distinguished University Professor of Law and Digital Technology at the University of Amsterdam, with a special focus on artificial intelligence. Her research examines how algorithms and AI transform media, public values and democratic communication. Working across law, communication and data science, she studies algorithmic news recommendations and helps lead the AI, Media and Democracy Lab and other interdisciplinary programmes on digital society.
