Urs Gasser researches the relationship between emerging technologies and society, with particular attention to the social and regulatory implications of artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and quantum technologies. He is Professor of Public Policy, Governance and Innovative Technology at the Technical University of Munich, where he also serves as Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Technology and Rector of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy.
